  • Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is
    v      Eat locally and regionally grown foods
    v     Eat organically and sustainably grown foods
    v     Join a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm
    v      Find your local farmers market
    v     Encourage local stores and restaurants to buy from local growers
    v     Dine at local restaurants that support local growers,
    and request local foods if they're not on the menu

  •  Grow Your Own
    v     Start a home garden, learn about container gardening for small spaces

    v     Organize a local food presentation by Illinois Stewardship Alliance for a community group, church group or friends
    v     Write a letter to the editor in support of local foods in our community
    v     Contact your representative to support crucial legislation; sign up to receive action alerts by emailing: bridget@ilstewards.org
