You can play a pivotal role at our Food & Farm Week of Action!
You can help make our first virtual Food and Farm Week of Action the biggest ever!
We want to recruit 12 Lobby Day leaders to help set up virtual constituent meetings during the Food and Farm Week of Action, April 19-22.
Lobby Day Leaders will volunteer a few hours of time over the next six weeks to:
- schedule a meeting with your state legislators,
- help farmers and eaters in your legislative district prepare to participate,
- report back on the conversation, and
- thank legislators for meeting with Alliance members.
Leaders will also get to network with each other across the state.
You will receive all the resources and support you need to make it quick and easy.
No experience needed! Anyone can be a Lobby Day Leader
There are 12 key lawmakers who need to hear from farmers and eaters during our Week of Action – and many more legislators eager to understand the issues impacting farmers and eaters.
The new virtual format means you can participate from anywhere without the time and cost of traveling to the Capitol in Springfield.
Seven members have already volunteered to be Lobby Day Leaders – are you in?
Not ready to be a Lobby Day Lead, but still want to participate in a meeting with lawmakers? Stay tuned! The full schedule of virtual constituent meetings during our Food & Farm Week of Action will be posted as soon as they become available.
With your help, this will be our biggest ever Food and Farm Week of Action!
