Eat•Drink•Vote: Reducing Agricultural Runoff & Water Quality
October 6 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Every Tuesday at noon from September until Election Day, tune into our Facebook Live to hear from farmers and organizations from across the state on key issues from the Alliance’s Illinois Food and Farm Candidate Questionnaire
Each Facebook Live will focus on one of the nine questions in the Candidate Questionnaire and provide a weekly update on which candidates have completed the questionnaire.
You will hear stories from farmers about how issues like food security, land access, climate change, and racial equity affect their lives, livelihoods, and the well-being of their community and surrounding ecosystem. Then we will discuss positive policy solutions that your congressional candidate could champion to address these issues.
Want to know where you candidate stands on the issues?
You can help make sure your congressional candidates know and care about these issues. Urge your congressional candidates right now to complete the Candidate Questionnaire and make local food and farms part of their platform this election.
We’ll make every response available on our website so that you can see where candidates stand on the issues.
You can vote for a more just and regenerative food system. Each Tuesday, join us to learn how.
