Soil Health Caucus Kickoff

March 12

For too long decisions have been made without farmers being at the table. This Caucus changes that. When we work as one collective, farmer-led voice, together we can change mindsets and create a stronger soil health community.

The Alliance Soil Health Champions Caucus will focus on building community and leadership in the group through meetings, activities, and training for members of the Caucus.

This caucus will advise and counsel on issue positions and strategy, in turn the Alliance will provide the caucus with:

  • Opportunities to build relationships between and among producers as a cohort
  • Develop and recognize Soil Health Champion leadership
  • Educate ourselves and each other on the issues related to building a just and regenerative food system
  • Foster relationships and build leadership within state and federal policymakers to champion issues
