TAKE ACTION: The Home-to-Market Act needs your support in the Senate

Last week the Home-to-Market Act HB2615 passed the first hurdle to becoming a law and made it out of Committee in the House! The Act will help small farms and food businesses across Illinois reach new customers, grow the local food economy, and give you greater access to the unique and delicious artisan products that Illinois has to offer.

Now it’s sister bill SB2007 in the Senate is up against the same hurdle.

On Tuesday, the Home to Market Act SB2007 will be heard in the Senate Subcommittee on Public Health. Before the bill can move forward, it must be passed by the Committee.
